“Camera, lots of film, and a Notebook + pen (I keep a travel journal everywhere I go.)”

“The Pleasure of Leisure, Shapes Out of Nowhere, Louis Vuitton Fashion Eye (Bali, Greece and Iran edition), Cy Twombly Homes & Studios and a Rare Copy of Mario Testino: Let Me In.”

“I don’t need a lot of stuff but I’ll say one of my watches, my point and shoot camera (a Yashica T4 in the moment) a pair of Birkenstocks to walk a lot and to be comfortable, and a little Marvis toothpaste to feel fresh.”

“A Richard Neutra, a Slim Aaron, a Purienne and the Hotel Il Pellicano book.”
Julie Wolfe is a Washington DC based artist known for her grand abstract paintings, sketches on book pages, artists books and site specific installations. Her artistic approach involves collecting images and data to explore the world around us, with the hope of leading the viewer through vibrant arrays of color, form, and language that often serve as markers of time.

“My computer, headphones and a book, (something that is inspiring me, that might relate to where I'm going).”
What is currently on your bookshelf?
“A lot of my books are art books. I have a new one about Sheila Hicks. The book itself is a piece of art.
Also, I just got a book of the work of Edith Dekyndt. Layers of Reality. It's about synesthesia. The cover and everything about it is really interesting.”
